1. Digital Conversion -are Independent practices ahead of hospitals in Digital conversion?

Earlier this year the Association of Hospital Radiology Administrators (AHRA) published their survey results showing that only 29% of Hospitals had fully migrated to Digital Radiology. We were surprised by these results.

In December 2016, Congress passed the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2016, also known as the “Omnibus,” that includes a provision to incentivize the industry to move towards a digital radiography

The provision reduced reinbursment of imaging studies performed using film (analog) instead of digital radiography (DR) by  20% effective January 1, 2017, and reduced reimbursement for CR studies by 7% from 2018-2022, and by 10% from 2023 thereafter.

Kontours has created a survey to understand the level of digitalization of radiology in outpatient facilities like Urgent Care, Sports medicine, and Urgent Care.

Please take a few minutes to answer our survey.
